"The Breaking" has just been selected to the Tietê International Film Awards in Brazil. "The Breaking" is set in the high bogs of Ireland in the mid-20th century and follows a man, excellently played by John Morley, coming face to face with the reality of the destructive and cyclical nature of addiction, and what he must do to break the cycle. The story is mostly told through Morley's physical acting ability, the cinematography and the desolate and lonely sounds of the bog. Judging for T.I.F.A. will take place later in the month so stay tuned for any news.
